- and continued modernization of court systems.
And let’s be honest in Zimbabwe, every senior judicial appointment immediately produces:
- constitutional experts,
- political analysts,
- and relatives suddenly asking lawyers to “quickly explain section something-something.”
But beyond the satire, judicial transitions matter.
Businesses watch. Investors watch. Litigants watch. Citizens watch.
Because courts are not just buildings with gowns and Latin phrases.
They are where contracts survive, property rights are defended, and national disputes eventually land bundled in lever-arch files thicker than a family Bible.
